Project scope was to set out foundation civils, install infill shells and fill trestles with concrete.

KMS were awarded the structural steel and mechanical package to replace all existing platforms, chutes, lube units and piping, steelwork, guarding, blast and paint and commissioning of mechanical items.

KMS fabricated and lined brand new chutes and screen, conveyor skirting, replaced all the structural steelwork through the plant, installed all the pumps and pipework, this project had a duration of 18months to complete.

KMS were awarded SMP package to fabricate all load tubes, infill frames, structural steelwork, mechanical items and piping. KMS were also awarded to install all the items for modules 5-4 and commissioning.

Scope of this project was to fabricate all structural steel for shed, fabricate and supply all stainless piping and construct all items and commission.

KMS supplied nitrogen and water piping for GDT, all piping was hydrostatic pressure tested and QA.

KMS removed all existing mechanical items on apron feeder and replaced all items as new and commissioned.

KMS was approached to design the screw press structure, fabricate all items and install.

KMS completed the install of 1.5km of conveyor steel stringers, part of this project we completed survey set out of the entire conveyor.

Replacement of all existing corroded fan ducted components, replaced propeller and shaft, laser aligned shaft and lobster back duct, all items grouted and commissioned to speck.

KMS were awarded the full package of the flow system for CR01 crusher circuit.

KMS were awarded as part of our poly contract at North Parkes Mines to replace the 630mm process water line, we replaced this line in under 3x shafts as the entire processing plant needed to be shutdown to complete these works.

As part of Ore Processing Department upgrade to accommodate higher production rates, a fourth tails line was required to compensate greater flow rates and to allow for maintenance works to be carried out without impacting production.

KMS was contracted to provide comprehensive fabrication and installation services for the construction of a permanent bulk air cooling (BAC) facility for Shaft 1 & Shaft 2.

KMS were awarded to install the grizzly H-frame for CR01 crusher, this steelwork needed to be installed in situ and welded out in place due to the size of the components.

KMS were awarded to fabricated 2x tipping cradles for the underground loading station, we were also awarded the install of both these items.

Due to the ongoing operational and maintenance challenges with the existing ML002 feed configuration, and CY002 structure being at the end of its operational life, a new cyclone design and location was recommended.

KMS were engaged by local client to complete civil & earthworks, fabrication, paint, and installation of a new Belt Magnet structure.

KMS re-engineered the existing scoop and replaced all worn components and certified this unit to current standards for compliance. This unit was preload test for operation before delivery as part of the certification.

Slurry Pipe inspections (MOD1)

The KMS team been busy installing the reclaimed tunnel for North Parkes Mines.

KMS was awarded the project to construct the new CV025 Curved Conveyor under 2 phases as part of the Mine Expansion Project at CMOC Northparkes Mines.

KMS were assigned the task of repairing a 250mm crack on one of the mod2 mills.

The KMS team have been welding poly with the T900 Tracstar for the flood line at the Rosedale Surface Infrastructure Project at Northparkes Mines.

Our KMS team have been working around the clock to hit the delivery date to fabricate this 6t discharge chute for a sag mill @ Northparkes Mines, we still have rubber lining and a three coat painting system to go before completion.

The KMS team have completed the CV002 Conveyor Gearbox and structural steel upgrade at Northparkes Mines which will increase the speed and tonnage on the conveyor, this project is in line with the expansion project.

Surface Feeder had metal fatigue and was days away from a failure, KMS replaced the feeder floor along with the removal and re-in-stall of the subframe.

The view from the bottom! This week the team were approx 150 meters down in the Open Cut Pit onsite at Northparkes Mines replacing the wet end on the pump.

KMS completed stainless steel pressure tig welding on a boiler room in a shutdown, build duration 5 days.

KMS replaced 2x 600lb crane valve and fabricated and installed 2x 6” spools on the North Parkes Mines underground dewatering line.

Upgrade works to the stainless blower lines

Flotation upgrade to increase input of cons through the OPD circuit. Works included installtionof new pumps, fabricated and installed new dart valve tanks, installed new 280 poly pipe work throughout the circuit.

Decommission of Batching Plant at Hanson Concrete NSW.

Reburish 8 x float tanks to be in line with the expansion project, work incuded was cut out coordied floor panels, welding in new sections, blast and paint entire cells for protection. Design, fabricate and install new stainless steal blower lines for rotors.
